Littelfuse Release IX4341 and IX4342 Dual 5 Amp Low Voltage Side MOSFET

The expansion of the drive family addresses a wide range of industrial, building automation, data center and renewable energy applications

Littelfuse Corporation (NASDAQ: LFUS) is an industrial technology manufacturing company dedicated to powering a sustainable, connected and safer world. The company is pleased to announce the IX4341 and IX4342 dual 5-amp low-voltage MOSFET gate drivers. Designed specifically to drive MOSFETs, these gate drivers complement the existing IX434x driver family by adding the remaining two logic input versions. The IX434x series now includes dual in-phase, dual reverse-phase, and both in-phase and reverse-phase input versions, providing customers with a comprehensive selection.

The IX4341 and IX4342 drives have a short propagation delay time of 16 nanoseconds and a short rise and fall time of 7 nanoseconds, making them ideal for high frequency applications. In addition, for higher current requirements, electronic designers can connect the two channels of the IX4340 and IX4341 devices in parallel to form A single 10 A driver, providing flexibility and scalability.

A notable feature of the IX434x driver is its compatibility with TTL and CMOS logic inputs and its ability to connect directly with most controllers. In addition, each output has an independent enable function and undervoltage latching circuit (UVLO) to ensure reliable, safe operation. In the event that the final supply voltage is insufficient, the gate driver output is set to a low level, thus turning off the external power device.

The IX4341 and IX4342 dual 5A low voltage side gate drivers are suitable for a variety of markets, including:

General industrial and electrical equipment

Household appliance

Building Solutions

Data center

Energy storage and renewable energy

These low-voltage MOSFET gate drivers are ideal for a variety of industrial applications, such as:

Switching power supply

DC-DC converter

Motor controller

Power converter

The IX434x device is available in a standard 8-pin SOIC, a heat-enhanced 8-pin SOIC, and a 3×3 mm² MSOP package, giving customers a range of options to meet their specific needs.

"This new family of dual-channel 5-amp low-voltage side gate drivers is highly integrated and compatible with a variety of logic input versions, simplifying circuit design." "With these drivers, customers can get more powerful performance and protect their power devices," said June Zhang, product manager, Integrated Circuits, Littelfuse's semiconductor business unit.

The IX434x dual 5A low voltage side gate drivers are suitable for a variety of industries, including general industrial and electrical equipment, home appliances, building solutions, data centers, energy storage and renewable energy.

They are a direct replacement for existing similar drives, providing customers with industry-standard options to meet their power needs.
